The Libyan Public Affairs Committee (LPAC) is an independent, non-partisan, and non-profit think tank, situated in the epicentre of London and Tripoli, devoted to meticulous research, edification, and guidance in economics, politics, government, and foreign policy. LPAC is a not-for-profit organisation limited by guarantee (registration number 12134837)
One of LPAC’s key objectives is to yield systematic, comprehensive, precise and impartial teachings, as well as unbiased assessments compiled in collaboration with pre-eminent international research institutes, think tanks and subsequent specialist organisations.
With a primary target of offering consultations to policymakers, consortiums based in Libya, as well as international unions enmeshed with associated Libyan affairs; and this is all carried out with a view of achieving democratic equality for all.
Administrated by a curated team of specialists, as well as corporate executives hailing from a diversity of relevant disciplines, LPAC seeks to forge a way for Libya to attain a state of egalitarianism, whilst still fully revering the law and precipitating the separation of executive, legislative and judicial authorities.
In addition, LPAC aspires to strengthen the relations between Libya and the remainder of the world through the organisation of meetings seminars, lectures and courses, as well as delivering explorative research articles, academic analyses and investigative evaluations.
These will be composed both by LPAC members and any associated experts and academics within the field. We intend for this specially curated material to raise awareness, provide radical solutions and forge the way to resolve all ingrained state issues.
LPAC’s management is comprised of a board of three members: a chairman, a deputy and a financial official. LPAC is also bolstered and administrated by a specially elected board of advisory figures and a work team that are edified in political, social, economic and financial fields.
All employees and actions harbour and embolden the main ideologies that have founded LPAC, and this includes buoying the political views inciting equality for all, without exclusion or marginalisation.
The objectives of LPAC will be achieved by implementing joint projects with governments, institutions, and international organisations. LPAC has partners that include the Arab European Centre for Human Rights and International Law, Arab-British Cultural Centre and Libyan National Dialogue Organisation. LPAC is also endeavouring to sign a cooperation agreement with the Economic Centre for Sustainable Development.
